Active Living Options Society
Formed in 2013 and found on the Joint Registry of Stocks NS the Society has a mandate to provide healthy and active participation options for local citizens and visitors alike. In January 2020 the Society welcomed  the Liverpool based Privateer 5 Mile Road Race – a traditional Run Nova Scotia Road Race Series 5 mile event to our organization which also features the RNS season opener Run our Shore 5/10/Half starting and ending at Queens Place in Brooklyn.

After a 3 year hiatus Privateer 5 Mile Road Race returns! 

Open to ages 12+ This is a Run event.

Kit pickup time at Royal Canadian Legion time TBA

Post event reception at the Royal Canadian Legion on Henry Hensey Drive

This event will start at the Visitor Information Centre parking area at 8:30 AM.

Keep to sidewalks within Liverpool limits. Be aware of road conditions and traffic when on Route #8 portion of this event. as you complete the final 1 mile of this route you will turn on to Henry Hensey Drive finishing near the Golden Pond Restaurant.
